The Conference will be held at the Hilton-University of Florida Hotel and Conference Center. This 7-story facility features the finest "state of the art" meeting and conference facilities. It boasts 13 dedicated meeting rooms inclusive of 25,000 square feet of technically capable meeting space, 245 luxury guestrooms, and 3 exceptional deluxe suites.

The Hilton Hotel and Conference Center offers a desirable location (just across the street from the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the Harn Museum of Art, and the Florida Museum of Natural History and its Butterfly Rainforest. Hotel guests can enjoy relaxing in a large heated pool and/or hot tub, or shooting billiards in the 2-Bits Lounge. Guest rooms have strategically placed desks; phone lines with Internet connectivity, and complimentary high-speed ethernet access to the Internet and WebTV, so that each room provides a technologically advanced workspace.

Albert's Restaurant, located in the hotel, provides outstanding service, including incredible buffets, unique, mouth-watering entrees and more. This 192-seat dining facility is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and includes a 70-seat semi-private dining pavilion overlooking the outdoor pool and patio. Albert's also features a great selection of domestic and imported wines to accompany menu selections. The 2-Bits Lounge features a casual menu of sandwiches, burgers, and other munchies along with televised sporting events, and more!

The Hilton has 11 handicapped accessible rooms. Six of these rooms have roll-in showers; others have tubs with rails and steps. Each of the rooms is equipped with audio and visual fire alarms, easy access doors (with push button opening after security card is swiped), door bells that activate a flashing light and two door peep-holes (one placed at the regular height, one placed at wheelchair viewing level.

Conference Hotel Room Rates

Room rates at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center will be $129 per night for Single and Double rooms for Wednesday - Friday nights of the conference (April 19, 20, 21). Due to a special community event, only a limited number of rooms are available for those wishing to stay over Saturday night (April 22), after the conclusion of the conference. Those staying over Saturday night will be charged at a rate of $149 for this night only.

Room rates are subject to state and local taxes that currently include 6.25% sales tax and a 3% occupancy tax (rates may change at any time without notice).

Check-in time is 4:00 PM - Check-out time is 12:00 PM

Hotel reservations for those coming to the conference must be made no later than Friday, March 17, 2006. After this date, reservations will be accepted based on room availability at the prevailing (non-conference) room rate.

From the Jacksonville Airport

Take I-95 south to I-295 South. Go to I-10 west. Take I-10 west about 18 miles to Hwy 301 south. Take 301S to SR24 (Waldo Rd) continue South to the Gainesville City limits. Pass the airport area and take a right on to 39th Avenue. Proceed West on 39th Avenue to the intersection of 39th Avenue and 34th Street. Take a left onto 34th Street and proceed for approximately five miles to the intersection of Hull Road and SW 34th Street. The hotel will be on the right-hand side.

From Lake City (or Metro-Atlanta)

Take I-75 south to Exit 384 (Archer Road). Take a left on to Archer Road and proceed one mile to the intersection of Archer Road and SW 34th Street. Take a left onto 34th Street and the hotel will be three blocks down on the left-hand side.

From Tallahassee (or Pensacola)

Take I-10 east 103 miles to the I-75 interchange. Take I-75 south to Exit 384 (Archer Road). Take a left onto Archer Road and proceed one mile to the intersection of Archer Road and 34th Street. Take a left onto 34th Street and the hotel will be three blocks down on the left-hand side.

From Tampa / St. Petersburg / Clearwater

Take I-275 north to the I-75 junction. Proceed north on I-75 to Exit 384 (Archer Road). Take a right on to Archer Road and proceed one mile to the intersection of Archer Road and 34th Street. Take a left onto 34th Street and the hotel will be three blocks down on the left-hand side.

From Sarasota

From Daytona Beach

Take I-95 north to SR 40. Proceed west to the I-75 Interchange. Take I-75 north to Exit 384 (Archer Road). From St. Augustine

Take SR 207 south 27 miles to SR 100. Proceed west on SR 100 for 25 miles to Putnam Hall and turn left onto SR 26. Follow SR 26 to Gainesville. SR 26 becomes University Avenue. Take University Avenue to the intersection of University Avenue and 34th Street. Take a left onto 34th Street and the hotel will be one-half mile on the right-hand side.

From Gainesville Regional Airport

Proceed on the Airport access road south to 39th Avenue. Take a right on to 39th Avenue. Proceed West on 39th Avenue to the intersection of 39th Avenue and 34th Street.
